APPEAL
CAMPAIGN
This week marks the kick-off
of the Montville Education Foundation’s (MEF) Friends of the
Foundation Annual Appeal Campaign.
MEF strives to elevate the educational experience for all
Montville citizens beyond what our town budgets provide.
Its support is felt across the Montville community,
providing much needed financial assistance through the Grant
Program. Funds
donated are used to directly support the MEF Grant Program
bringing relevant, inspiring, innovative and creative educational
programs to our community.
Education
has the three “R”s, but great education also has the three
“P”s — Passion, Partnership and Perspective – and this is
what makes your MEF so different, special... and effective.
The Passion.
An idea
that’s born from someone’s passion for a subject is incredibly
powerful. Each one of the grants the MEF has awarded over the past
three years is born from an applicant’s PASSION for an idea, a
topic or new technology.
The Partnerships.
Whether it’s
our teachers, our district administration, our very own students,
or engaged, committed parents and community members like you, all
of us involved with MEF have learned that we go farther when we
work together.
The Perspective.
MEF’s core
mission remains constant: to seek out ways to enhance and expand
educational opportunities for residents of all ages. What has
changed? Over the past three years, our reach and impact have
evolved and grown.
Grant
applications have grown in depth, breadth and scope. As applicants
stretch their imaginations, we stretch our initiatives to support
and stimulate greater innovation and impact.
