JOIN THE BOARD
A nominating
procedure is in place to be on the MEF Board. If you have an
interest in becoming a Board member, please think about the following:

We
look for candidates who share a passion and
enthusiasm for Montville.

Fundraising is a prime focus and the entire board
participates in fundraising events.
-
The Foundation needs people who have good ideas.
Members must work well in a group decision-making
environment, work collaboratively, and accept different points
of view. Each Board
member brings a unique skill or represents a distinct part of
the Montville community.

Candidates
are evaluated in light of diversity regarding experience,
occupations, interests, school boundaries, and other factors as
appropriate.

A
Board term is held for 3 years for up to a total of 2 terms.

Board
monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of every month
unless otherwise noted. Board members are expected to make most of the
meetings.

Board
members must make a financial donation to the Montville
Education Foundation, Inc.
There are no specific dollar amount requirements.

Every
Board member actively participates on a committee as a
chairperson or member.
Serving as a
director of the Montville Education Foundation, Inc. affords you the
opportunity to make an impact on the education
opportunities for the entire community of Montville.
